Redfin Metro and County Level Real Estate Data

• There are several tabs/visuals of data- they are just configured differently for more insight.

• Some visuals are meant for analyzing various trends across INDIVIDUAL geographical areas and don’t make a distinction for property type. Others visuals meeting this criteria do allow for property type customization (filter will be inset at bottom right of visual).

• The benchmark tabs allow you to compare metrics across various geographic areas and can be customized to your specifications.

• Most of the data goes back to January 2012, but that’s not always the case for certain areas.

• Most of the metro data is only available seasonally adjusted; whereas the county data is not seasonally adjusted

• Viewable on computers only

• Data is not exportable

• Data may render differently when in full screen mode for the entire visual.

Labor Data

Below are employment/unemployment/labor force data for ALL geographic areas which comes from the Local Area Unemployment Statistics (LAUS) produced by the BLS. Think of this data as the household survey in terms of methodology.

There are a total of 2 visuals which simply configure that information several different ways. These are the most recent numbers thru August 2026. Employment population ratios and labor force participation rates are only available for states from this data series.
